A team of excise department intercepted the car of Army jawan Kapil Kumar and recovered 75 litres of illicit liquor.
Noida: An Army jawan was arrested on Monday by the sleuths of district excise department in Noida for allegedly smuggling illicit liquor, a senior official said.
Acting on a tip-off, a team of excise department intercepted the car of Army jawan Kapil Kumar and recovered 75 litres of illicit liquor from his possession, District Excise Officer Kuldeep Yadav said.
A case under Excise Act has been registered against Kumar while further probes into the matter are on, Yadav added.
