Neyveli Book Fair begins Friday

PUDUCHERRY: The Neyveli Book Fair - 2011, organised by the Neyveli Lignite Corporation Ltd, will be inaugurated on Friday. Justice T Mathivanan of the Madras High Court would be the chief guest at the14th edition of the book fair. NLC chairman-cum-managing director A R Ansari will preside over the function, which would be held at the Lignite Hall, Book Fair Grounds, Block 11, Neyveli.The fair will be open from 11 am to 9 pm on all days. A formal inaugural function would be held at 6 pm on Friday.Various functions like book releases, honouring of publishers, literary discourses and cultural programmes will be organised daily.
