The two-day Science Model Exhibition came to an end on Sunday. It was organised by the Inspire Award Yojna. About 594 models were displayed in the exhibition. A large number of students participated in the exhibition. The students showed their enthusiasm and excitement during the science exhibition.
Raipur: Bird flu alert across state
Outbreak of bird flu in a poultry farm at Anjora village of Rajnandgaon district has been reported by the health department of the state. Following this, an alert has been declared across the state. As preventive measures, the area within 10 km of the village is being monitored by the health officials, while the area within 1 km is being sanitised.
Raipur: Mini steel plants demands concession in power tariff
The mini steel plants of the state have stopped production demanding concession in the power tariff. The mini steel plants are passing through atough phase due to the sinking market and the raw materials crises. About 83 steel plants have been shut shop while the rest stopped production. This decision has rendered 50,000 workers jobless.
