New Delhi: Reigning French Open champion Rafael Nadal may not like Wimbledon much at the moment, but he is in no hurry to leave.
Despite going down two sets against Mikhail Youzhny of Russia, the World No. 2 fought on and staged a remarkable comeback to make his way to the quarter-finals on Thursday.
Nadal won the match 4-6, 3-6, 6-1, 6-2, 6-2 on the back of another five-setter that took three days to finish because of rain delays against Swede Robin Soderling on Wednesday.
Nadal's opponent in the quarter-final will be Thomas Berdych who beat veteran and former Wimbledon semi-finalist, Sweden's Jonas Bjorkman.
Nadal finished runners-up at the last edition of the All England Championships, going down to four-time champion Roger Federer.
Also advancing was World No. 4 Serbian Novak Djokovic, who beat 2002 champion Lleyton Hewitt in four sets.
Djokovic proved to be too good for Australian Hewitt , seeded 16th in the draw, winning a tight four setter 7-6, 7-6, 4-6, 7-6.
Djokvic will next play Marcos Baghdatis of Cyprus after the number 10 seed overcame the challenge of sixth seed Nikolay Davydenko of Russia in straight sets.
