KOCHI: Christi Jaibin, HR Executive, Vofox Solutions Private Limited, KaloorIndra Nooyi, the chairman of Pepsico is one person who has inspired me the most. She has inspired me in two ways, one as a woman and other as an entrepreneur. Nooyi has been leading the company in the global market for more than a decade now. I have read that after her joining as CFO, the company became very successful. Often woman are sidelined as they are considered less efficient/professional, especially when it comes to heading a business unit. But Nooyi proved all these notions wrong and has risen as the most powerful business woman. I really admire her. Fathima Naushad, BA Communicative English, MES College, Alwaye Shreya Goshal is my choice as the youth icon of our country. Despite being one of the most sought-after playback singers of the country who has won four national awards in a row, she seems so down-to-earth. She came from a small town through a reality show and has become so famous now, singing in different languages. Shreya’s success shows us that once a person makes up his/her mind, everything is possible. There is an innate genuineness in whatever she does. Shreya is an inspiration not only to the aspiring singers of the country, but to all youngsters.Hari P S, BTech, SCMS Sachin Tendulkar who has been inspiring the whole country over the years is undoubtedly our youth icon. He has been taking incredible pressure of a whole nation upon himself, and has never buckled. He is the best player of the world. In spite of being the senior-most in the team, he seems more hardworking than the youngsters. He’s always known to reach first on the ground for practice. I think his hardworking temperament along with his talent is what has made him a legendary player.
