HYDERABAD: TRS leader and Medak MP Vijayashanti has said the Congress high command will not resolve the Telangana issue even by 2014.Addressing a press conference here on Thursday, she said the Congress high command was testing the patience of people of Telangana region by making undue delay in spelling out its stand on the T issue.“Sakala Janula Samme launched by the TJAC has already entered the 30th day.People of Telangana are facing several hardships due to the strike.Many Telangana youths have sacrificed their lives for the cause of Telangana.Despite all this, the Congress high command is unwilling to spell out its stand on the issue,” she said.Continuing the suspense on the Telangana issue, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and other Central leaders are giving different statements, which lacked clarity.Manmohan Singh did not give any assurance to the TJAC delegation, which met him in Delhi, on creation of separate Telangana.The Congress high command is intentionally dilly dallying on the issue, she said.TRS chief K Chandrasekhara Rao, who is committed to the T cause, has been leading the Telangana movement without considering his fragile health, she said, underlining the need to continue the stir till the Congress-led UPA Government delivers Telangana.Alleging that the government was trying to dilute the T movement, she said several organisations at the behest of the government were demanding that educational institutions be exempted from Sakala Janula Samme.Replying to a question, Vijayashanti said she did not have any plans to join the BJP though she has close relations with LK Advani’s family.The TRS MP said she would take part in Advani’s Rath Yatra against corruption after taking permission from the party leadership.
