Union Minister of State for Agriculture Harish Rawat has hailed MP Rama Chandra Khuntia’s “The Voice of Environment in Parliament” as a handbook of climate change, forest, environment and wildlife protection.
Releasing the book at a seminar organised by Science and Environment Academy here recently, Rawat has urged both the Centre and the State governments to strictly implement all the national legislations for the protection of forests and environment.
Rama Chandra Khuntia presented the book to the gathering at the seminar and was facilitated with the Environment Award on the occasion.
State Development Commissioner RN Senapati, Principal CCF Priyanath Padhee, former Sambalpur University VC Madhav Chandra Dash, OUAT VC DP Ray and former OERC member Pravakar Swain were present among others.
