Srinagar: A moderate intensity earthquake measuring 4.6 magnitude on Richter Scale hit Kashmir valley on Wednesday, a top official said.
The tremor, which was recorded at 8.47 am on Wednesday morning, had its epicenter in Hindukush region of Afghanistan border, Coordinator at Disaster Management Cell Aamir Ali said.
However, there were no reports of any damage due to the earthquake, he said.
