Minor girl abducted by auto driver

HYDERABAD: A 13-year-old girl who was allegedly kidnapped by an auto driver from her house in Uppal four days ago, was found in Secunderabad the next day. However, the accused has been missing since then. The incident came to light on Sunday following a complaint lodged by her father with the Uppal police. Srinivas (20), who is also a resident of Uppal, fell in love with the girl and abducted her on June 23 to marry her. The girl is a class IV student at a government school and a resident of Chilka Nagar in Uppal.On June 24, her family members found her in Secunderabad and later, took her back home.  However, Srinivas has been absconding since June 23 and the police are still on the lookout for him.
