Maoists slit throat of worker

VISAKHAPATNAM: Maoists killed S Badri, a 36-year-old daily wage worker of Gangavaram village in Koyyuru police limits in the district on Tuesday night suspecting him to a police informer. Sources said a group of left wing extremists went to Badri’s home on Tuesday night and forcibly took him to an isolated place, where a praja court was held following which they slit the throat of Badri accusing him to be a police informer.Badri was a resident of Kannavaram village of Koyyuru mandal. He went to Guntur in search of employment few months back following repeated warnings from Maoists. He returned home recently.
