HYDERABAD: Task Force sleuths nabbed one person on Tuesday, who was involved in sale of cars with fabricated documents. Police recovered three cars from him. Others accused in the case- Syed Hannan, resident of Royal Colony in Balapur, Suresh Babu, Syed Munna, Madhu Boya, Abdul Nayum Khureshi, Gundumaralla Lakshmi Kantha Reddy are still absconding.K Raghuram Reddy, deputy commissioner of police, Task Force said that on information, they arrested Mohd Nayeem alias Nayeem, a resident of Gulshan Iqbal Colony, DRDL road who was selling four-wheelers with forged documents along with six others. Police said two of the accused Nayeem and Suresh Babu are in the business of selling second-hand cars. As the duo had run up losses in their business, they started preparing fake documents for the cars by removing the hypothecation agreement on registration certificates and sell the same at good price to people, by securing the NOC from the concerned RTA authorities.“Nayeem contacted another accused Syed Munna, who is the owner of an Indica Vista (AP21 AG 9166) and collected his RC and other relevant documents to sell his car by fabricating documents. After collecting the vehicle and original documents from Munna, Nayeem managed to secure a NOC from RTA at Kurnool,” Raghuram Reddy said. They then approached Dr Cars and managed to sell the vehicle to one Ch Chandra Shekar for `3.95 lakh. They then decided to sell more vehicles in a similar fashion. Subsequently, another accused Suresh Babu brought three more Indica Vistas from Kurnool to sell off with with fake documents at Dr Cars. On information, Task Force sleuths along with Saifabad police nabbed Mohd Nayeem.
