Man held for barging into ladies coupe

KOCHI: The Railway Police on Friday detained a person who tried to barge into the ladies compartment of the Thiruvanathpuram-Chennai Mail, when the train reached the Aluva Railway Station. The person, who was taken into custody later, fled the scene after the incident even as the passengers and security people gathered around the platform. According to the Police, the incident happened around 8.30 pm when the train reached the station.
