Maharashtra: CBI officer found hanging at his residence

Mumbai: A Sub Inspector of the Central Bureau of Investigation's Anti-Corruption Bureau was found hanging from the ceiling fan in his house on Monday morning.

The 50-year-old officer was a resident of Maharashtra's eastern suburb, Vikhroli.

According to the police, the deceased had a heated altercation with his wife the night previous to his death.

Police claims prima facie it appears he had an intense argument last night with his wife which could have led to the suicide.
