BANGALORE: Alleging a couple of performing religious conversion, around 50 people laid siege to the house of the couple. However, the agitated crowd was pacified by the police. The incident was reported in HBR Layout V Block in Hennur police limits on Sunday.A group of people alleged that Henry and his wife Roshani were converting leprosy patients as they had organised a lunch for them.The patients had come from Dharmapuri of Tamil Nadu.Henry maintained that he had been offering them lunch every year on a festival.However, the local residents accused the couple of preaching religion to patients and convinced them to convert.The police rushed to the spot and pacified the irate crowd.They also questioned Henry over the issue.
