BANGALORE: A lorry which was returning after unloading crushed stones near Bettalasuru Bande near Vidyanagar Cross in Chikkajala fell into a quarry that was filled with water.It is feared that the lorry driver has been killed in the mishap as he has gone missing after the incidents, aged around 40 years, is the driver is missing. A native of Chitradurga, he was residing in Vidyanagar since ten years. It is said that he was drunk when the incident occurred. Though efforts were made to bring out the lorry through the fire personnel, the operation was impeded by heavy rains and it was stopped. The search operation would continue.105 cases solvedThe east division police have cracked 105 cases and have made 47 arrests in the last two months. Stolen property worth Rs 1.71 crore has been recovered from the accused.
