Siliguri: The Left Front lost the Siliguri Mahakuma Parishad when the Trinamool Congress sponsored no confidence motion against the Left Front ruled board which was passed by the majority of Parishad members on Monday.
The Siliguri Mahakuma Parishad has seven members. Four of them are of the Left Front while three others were of the Congress. The three Congress members had recently joined the Trinamool Congress.
On Monday the three TMC members moved a no confidence motion against the Left Front ruled board. During the voting of the no-confidence motion, the no confidence motion was supported by four members including Left Front member Jyoti Tirkey.
