The External Affairs Minister rules out any talk with his Pakistani counterpart on the sidelines of the Kabul conference.

Kabul: External Affairs Minister SM Krishna arrived in Kabul on Monday to attend the International Aid conference on Tuesday. Krishna, who returned from Pakistan on Friday following the breakdown in talks, refused to respond to Pakistani Foreign Minister SM Qureshi's jibes against him saying India will not get into a slanging match with Pakistan.

Krishna also told CNN-IBN that any talk with Qureshi on the sidelines of the Kabul conference was unlikely. But Krishna said the invitation to Qureshi to visit Delhi later this year still stood despite the Pakistani Foreign Minister blaming him for the failure of the talks.

He said the roadmap for the meeting is to be decided later and the ball is now in Pakistani court.

Meanwhile, Qureshi once again raised the Kashmir issue in talks with visiting US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. Qureshi said Pakistan has been seeking sustained dialogue with India and a just solution to the Kashmir issue.

"Our aim is to have a sustained vision which is driven by our convergent interest including the twin evils of terrorism, extremism and sustaining dialogue with India and finding a just solution to the Kashmir issue," said Qureshi.

Pakistan and Afghanistan also signed a landmark trade agreement on Sunday with Hillary witnessing the deal. Her visit to Islamabad is part of US' efforts to bring the two neighbours closer.
