Kremlin warns Britain of serious consequences

New Delhi: The Kremlin has warned Britain of serious consequences after expelling four Russian diplomats from the UK.

Britain's move comes after Russia refused to hand over a former KGB agent accused of murdering Alexander Litvinenko in London last year.

Litvinenko, another former KGB agent, died in November last year due to radioactive poisoning.

British prosecutors want Andrei Lugovoy, a former Russian state security agent, to face trial in the UK.
