Justice N K Balakrishnan of the Kerala High Court on Monday recused himself from hearing the bail plea of CPM Panur area committee member P K Kunhanandan and the six other accused in the T P Chandrasekharan murder case.
Justice Balakrishnan declined to hear the bail plea of P V Rafeeque, K C Ramachandran, P Mohanan, M P Sanoop, E M Shaji and Jyothi Babu along with the plea of Kunhanandan.
When the case came up before the court on Monday, the judge asked the registry to post it to another bench.
The judge had recused himself from hearing the anticipatory bail petitions filed by T V Rajesh MLA in the Abdul Shukkoor murder case, and Sanalkumar, a BSNL official and an accused in the case related to the leaking of the phone call details of a member of the Special Investigation Team probing the T P Chandrasekharan murder.
