Her campaign for lowering the cancer-screening age has got massive response.

New Delhi: There has been a huge response in UK to dying, cancer-stricken, reality TV star Jade Goody's campaign for the cancer screening age to be lowered. Thousands are expected to march to Downing street on Wednesday with a petition to review the age limit for cancer screening.

Jade Goody herself will not be a part of the march as she is just hours away from death and under heavy sedation, but she defied the pain to stay up and watch the sunset and drink cans of coke - possibly for the last time in her life.

"The doctors are amazed. Jade managed to see the sunset and was asking for cans of Coke. She's an incredibly strong woman," thesun.co.uk quoted a friend as saying.

Jade not only propped up in bed to see the sky at night, she was eager to catch one last glimpse of sunny fields before she breathes her last.

The reality star, 27, lifted her head and enjoyed the view from her dining room bay windows. She even summoned her 21-year-old husband Jack Tweed and said: "Sit me up and let me look out over the fields." She managed a smile as she enjoyed the sunshine at her home in Upshire, Essex.

Jade's publicist and friend, Max Clifford said, "As Jade said, it is too late for me, but why should the others suffer? The march and petition are important to her."

The reality star is now insisting that her children - Bobby (5) and Freddie (4) - should not be present when she dies. Clifford also said that she was too sick for a visit from Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty.
