Information Commissioner post: Plea against 2

KOCHI: A petition challenging the selection committee recommendation of two persons to the post of State Information Commissioner was filed before the Kerala High Court on Monday. The petitioner D B Binu, general secretary, RTI Kerala Federation, sought a directive to stay all further proceedings in this regard.  The selection committee reportedly recommended the names of two politicians - Vidura Sasi and Kuriyas Kumbalakuzhi for the post.The petitioner submitted that Vidura Sasi is a leader of the INTUC and Kurias is an activist of Kerala Congress (M).
