New Delhi: HP launched a new HP Windows 8 product line, which includes - an ultrabook, a hybrid device and an all-in-one PC.
The HP consumer notebook portfolio powered by Windows 8 includes a hybrid PC and notebooks with multitouch display technology. The HP ENVY x2 is a hybrid PC that is said to deliver the power of a notebook and the freedom of a tablet in one device. The HP ENVY x2 has a detachable screen that becomes a full tablet when separated from the keyboard via a seamless magnetic latch.
It is claimed to offer up to seven hours HD video playback on the tablet and up to 12.25 hours HD video playback when docked. The HP ENVY x2 features a 11.6-inch diagonal high-definition touch display, an HD webcam plus an 8-megapixel camera, and near field communication (NFC) technology. The HP ENVY x2 is expected to be available in India from January 2013. It is available at a price point of Rs 59,990.
The HP ENVY TouchSmart Ultrabook 4 features a 14-inch multitouch HD display, with up to five hours of battery life, a subwoofer with Beats Audio and optional AMD graphics with 2GB of graphics memory. It measures 23 mm thin and weighs 2.16 kg. The HP ENVY TouchSmart Ultrabook 4 is expected to be available in January 2013 at a price point of Rs 59,990.
HP also launched an all-in-one PC. The HP ENVY 23 TouchSmart all-in-one PC is said to deliver a 10-point multitouch technology. It has a 23-inch diagonal HD display. It is equipped with the latest Intel Core i5 processor, and 1 terabyte of storage. It is available in India from December 20 at a price of Rs 71,990.
