BANGALORE: The state police have issued high alert in all police commissionerates and all district headquarters following three explosions by the terrorists in Mumbai on Wednesday evening.
ADGP Rupak Kumar Datta told The New Indian Express that his office has issued alert notices to all Police Commissioners and Districts Superintendents of Police to keep strict vigil and ensure that adequate security measures are taken to prevent any untoward incidents.He also said that the police officers have been asked to keep a tab on all airports including Bangalore International Airport, railway stations and bus stands. In the meantime, the DGP's office has alerted the coastal security force and also the SPs of coastal districts to keep a strict vigil at the Arabian seashore as there is an input from the Intelligence Bureau that suspected terrorists may enter the state through the sea route.
