Melbourne: Mahesh Bhupathi and Martina Hingis beat fifth seeded home pair of Paul Hanley and Samantha Stosur 6-3 6-3 in the semi-finals to enters the finals of the mixed doubles event of the Australian Open on Friday.
They will take on Canadian-Russian combination of Daniel Nestor and Elena Likhovtseva in the final.
Nestor and Likhovtseva defeated Leander Paes and his French partner Nathalie Dechy in the other semi-final of the mixed doubles event.
The Indo-French duo lost to the sixth seeded pair of Daniel Nestor of Canada and Elena Likhovtseva of Russia 6-3, 4-6, 6-7 in 1hour 38 minutes.
