THRISSUR: The Ekadasi celebrations will conclude on the Gita Dinam at the Guruvayur Sree Krishna Temple here on Tuesday, with the Devaswom offering ‘prasadam oottu’, the free feast, in which thousands will take part. The sanctum sanctorum will be kept open throughout the day, informed the Public Relations Officer. Gajarathnam Guruvayur Padmanabhan will carry the golden idol of the deity into the temple along with tuskers Indrasen and Sreedharan, and would take out the usual idol outside in procession to the Parthasarathy temple. The procession will be accompanied by Panchavadyam led by Peruvanam Kuttan Marar.The Chembai Music Festival will also draw to a close on Tuesday, with the bhajan, ‘Karuna Cheyvan Enthe Krishna.’ An Aksharashloka competition will be held at the Devaswom office from 2 pm to 10 pm.
