Mumbai: Megastar Amitabh Bachchan, the brand ambassador for Gujarat, has now received a commendation from Chief Minister Anandiben Patel for his efforts.
The 72-year-old took to Twitter and his blog to share a photograph of him receiving a memento and a shawl from Patel.
"The Gujarat Chief Minister, Anandiben Patel fills me with commendations for my contribution towards Gujarat Tourism," he posted on his blog srbachchan.tumblr.com.
"Her daughter and son-in-law introduce me to some of the path-breaking work that they are involved in, socially...and my readiness in not just acknowledging it but volunteering to become a part of this many faceted work towards humanity," he added.
Big B is seen endorsing the vibrant state through Khusboo Gujarat Ki television campaign.
