HYDERABAD: Telugu Desam Party has slammed the state government for "deteriorating law and order" situation.
Party leader and legislator A Revanth Reddy speaking to newsmen here on Wednesday said: "We have been telling the government that all the accused in Paritala Ravi's murder case were being eliminated. The murder of Patlolla Govardhan Reddy is the latest example and yet the government is indifferent towards the law and order situation."Revanth Reddy wanted the chief minister to come out with an explanation why there was a slide in the law and order situation. "The attack on textiles minister P Shankar Rao takes the cake," he said.

Revanth Reddy said that the murder of Govardhan Reddy and attack on Shankar Rao only showed intelligence failure. "It is no surprise because it was being used to watch the activities of the Opposition," he said.
