Mumbai: In a bizarre case, gangster Mustafa Dossa, an under trial in the 1993 serial bomb blasts case, held auditions for models inside a sessions court during a hearing.

Dossa allegedly brought eight models inside a courtroom and conducted audition inside the court to select a model for a Dubai based assignment.

A 19-year-old model, who also auditioned, has also lodged an FIR against Dossa. She claimed that the gangster shortlisted three out of the 8 models brought to the sessions court in Mumbai.

The model was reportedly paid a token amount by the ganster's aide, who later robbed her by roping in two men who acted as police officers.

The Mumbai Crime Branch has arrested three accused in connection with the case.

The serial blasts in Mumbai in March 1993 had killed 257 people and damaged property worth Rs 32 crore damaged.

Dawood Ibrahim, Tiger Memon and Mohhammed Dossa are three main accused in the case still wanted.

Musatafa Dossa was arrested in 2003 and charged subsequently. His lawyer Rizwan Merchant said his trial began in 2003 separately and not with the main accused.
