BANGALORE: Healthcare is very important.And when you are in school, you might tend to ignore them, thanks to heavy homework, which leaves no time for anything else.Keeping this in mind, the Sindhi Youth Association (SYA) along with P D Hinduja Sindhi Hospital organised a free health check-up camp in Hebbal.The free health check-up camp was held for the students of Sindhi Seva School in the city.About 100 students were given health check up for height, weight, eyes, cardio vascular system, respiratory system, abdomen and so on.The event was organised by SYA as part of their golden jubilee celebrations.Sindhi Seva School is a free school for the underpriviledged, and they cater to drop outs in the age group, 10 to 17.They provide an open school curriculum in the CSBE syllabus.This unique concept provides for the child to complete his/her education upto clas 10, with a CSSE syllabus.The present strength of the Seva school is about 88 children.Apart from free education, the child is also provided with a free meal every day.
