Mumbai: Convicted Kannada film actress Maria Susairaj, found guilty of disposing the body of television executive Neeraj Grover, has sent a legal notice to bollywood
director Ram Gopal Varma saying that he did not have right to release a film based on her life without her consent.
Maria has told Varma that if she is not allowed to preview the film within a week, she would initiate civil and criminal action. Not A Love Story, the movie reportedly based on the Neeraj Grover murder case by Ram Gopal Varma is scheduled for release on 19th August.
In a notice sent by her lawyer Sherif Sheikh, she has said "the story of the film is based on the case prepared by the police and wrongly publicised by the media which was not proved before the court and it is proved that the police have falsely implicated her in the offence,".
