File fresh petition in forgery case

BANGALORE: The High Court on Tuesday directed the petitioner to file a fresh comprehensive petition in the forgery case against cricketer Anil Kumble. The petitioner, Kumar Jagirdar, who is the biological father of Anil Kumble’s custodial daughter, had sought action against the police for not taking action against former cricketer who allegedly forged Jagirdar’s signature in his daughter’s passport.Jagirdar had alleged that Kumble’s affidavit as submitted by the police in the court and the affidavit copy he had obtained through an RTI petition had a lot of differences.Justice Abdul Nazeer directed Jagirdar to withdraw the present petition and file a fresh petition.
