Patna: In a blatant abuse of power, Union Minister and Bharatiya Janata Party MP Ram Kripal Yadav was caught on camera trying to enter Patna's Lok Nayak Jayaprakash Airport through exit gate. Yadav was stopped by a female security officer from breaking the rule but he then started to argue with her.
Yadav insisted that only he be allowed to enter through the wrong gate, and not his entourage but the female officer did not relent.
The officer then consulted her seniors on a walkie talkie and told Yadav that she can't let him through. Yadav finally entered the airport through the entry gate.
Defending his action, Yadav said, "My intention was not otherwise. I was in hurry. I had to reach my constituency to meet people. When lady officer refused my entry I took otherwise. I did not argue. The lady guard did good job as she performed her duty well."
Senior Congress leader Shobha Oza called Yadav's behaviour improper.
