Family vies for YSR in the comfort of home

KADAPA: In Kadapa, the home district of the late chief minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, elaborate arrangements have been to observe his second death anniversary at Idupulapaya on Friday.Kadapa MP YS Jaganmohan Reddy was scheduled to leave Hyderabad for Idupulapaya estate on Thursday to offer prayers at his father’s samadhi called YSR Ghat.Along with him, his mother Y S Vijayalakshmi and his family members will attend the event.YSR followers and supporters from various parts of the district and other parts of the state are expected to visit YSR Ghat and pay floral tributes to the late leader.But the numbers who will assemble at Idupulapaya will not be as large as last year, considering that several thousands had attended YSR Congress party’s plenary two months ago.The food arrangements have been made for only 30,000 people on the occasion, according to sources.Meanwhile, former minister and YSR’s brother Y S Vivekananda Reddy, who took out a padayatra in honour of his brother, will conclude it at YSR Ghat and pay tributes to his brother.
