HYDERABAD: The fake IAS officer Suman Singh, who had earlier created flutter by cheating many people by introducing herself as Officer-on-Special-Duty (OSD) to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, was arrested again by Central Crime Station (CCS) sleuths on Saturday. After being arrested earlier, she had come out on bail recently. Officials of CCS said Suman Singh was arrested after one Ahmed Mohiuddin Khaisar lodged a complaint informing she had duped him by collecting `50 lakh by promising to settle a land dispute in Kaiz village of Maharashtra. "Suman Singh demanded him `1.5 crore to settle the dispute, with a condition to pay `50 lakh as advance and the remaining `1 crore to be paid, after completion of the work. Accordingly, in April, the complainant paid `50 lakh in three instalments at her house. After collecting the cash, she disappeared," CCS deputy commissioner of police J Satyanarayana said in a press release. After arresting Suman Singh, city police seized property worth `10 lakh from her possession. Mohiuddin Khaisar approached CCS officials after he came to know through newspaper reports that Suman Singh is a con IAS and was arrested by police in another cheating case. Police said Suman Singh had allegedly cheated people by introducing herself as an OSD to the Prime Minister and promising to get their work done by using her 'influence' on senior IAS and IPS officers. Earlier, a city realtor Khaleel had been duped of `10 lakh, after he paid her the amount to settle a land dispute in 2009.
