Detective Byomkesh Baskhy: Bengali actress Swastika Mukherjee's character is inspired by famous spy and seductress Mati Hari

Dibakar Banerjee's upcoming film 'Detective Byomkesh Bakshy' is generating a lot of curiosity. The teaser of the film created a lot of hype giving the viewers a glimpse of Kolkata in the 1930s. The latest stills of the film features Bengali actress Swastika Mukherjee in dark alleys looking ultra glamorous. Apparently Swastika's characters is inspired by Mata Hari, famous dutch spy of the late 19th century who was known to be a seductress. Sawstika, who is a popular actress in Bengal film industry, makes her Bollywood debut with this film. She plays the character of Anguri Devi and also shares a steamy kiss with Sushant Singh Rajput in the film.
