Decks cleared for Jagan trial

HYDERABAD: A CBI court on Thursday took cognisance of the second chargesheet filed by the CBI in the YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s alleged illegal assets case.The CBI filed the second chargesheet in the case on April 23 naming Jagan Mohan Reddy as Accused No 1, his financial adviser V Vijay Sai Reddy as Accused No. 2 and Jagathi Publications as Accused No 3.It said it transposed three persons, who were named as accused in the FIR, as prosecution witness.The three are AK Dandamudi, TR Kannan and Madhav Ramachandra. With the court taking cognisance of the chargesheet, the trial will begin soon.
