HYDERABAD: A sub-inspector of Cyberabad police’s Special Operation Team, who was critically injured in an accident on the Outer Ring Road on Monday, succumbed to the injuries.The 2007-batch SI, VC Vijju (30), and three other SIs of Cyberabad police were injured after their car rammed a heap of sand on an under-construction stretch of the road near Balijaguda and overturned. The four SIs and another man, a businessman, were on their way to Warangal when the mishap took place.Vijju, who was being treated at a corporate hospital at Malakpet, succumbed to the injuries on Monday night.According to Vanasthalipuram police inspector B Ravindar Reddy, Vijju hailed from Kerala and was unmarried. After performing an autopsy, the body was sent to his native place in Kerala. The other three SIs and businessman, being treated at various corporate hospitals, were out of danger,’ Ravindar Reddy said.The three SIs are Ramesh Naik attached with the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA), Shamshabad police station; and Venkatesh and Rajender Goud (both Shivarampally police station).
