HYDERABAD: The CPM Central Committee meetings will be held here for two days from June 11. Party politburo will meet on June 10 to finalise the agenda of the meetings.The meetings are expected to debate the party’s recent election debacle in West Bengal and the face-saving exit in Kerala.It would also discuss national political situation and the ongoing anti-corruption movement across the country and the proposed Lokpal Bill. The party will also review its organisational issues and would chalk out a programme to strengthen the party across the country. After the central committee meetings, state committee meetings of the party will be held from June 13.Speaking to reporters here on Wednesday, CPM state secretary BV Ragahvulu took strong objection to AICC general secretary Ghulam Nabi Azad's remarks on Telangana. "Azad's statement was most irresponsible,'' the CPM leader remarked. He demanded the UPA government to take steps to resolve the T issue immediately. The CPM leader also demanded governor ESL Narasimhan to summon the Assembly to the debate the no-confidence motion for which a notice was given by the TDP.
