BANGALORE: Justice R G Vaidyanatha Commission of inquiry, constituted by the State Government to investigate into the violent incidents that took place in the City Civil Court Complex on March 2, has extended the last date for filing affidavits and statements before it up to June 8 (by 5 pm). The move comes in the wake of advocates and the City Police Commissioner seeking extension of the deadline. The Commission has received 140 affidavits so far. The Commission has asked those who want to file affidavits or statements to do so before it, in person or through a messenger or by post. One set of the original affidavit or statement and documents should be submitted along with three sets of photocopies. The Commission’s office is in the upstairs of Balabrooie VIP Guest House at Sankey Road Junction and Palace Road near Basava Bhavan. Call 080- 22879581/ 22879582 for details.
