Congratulating the police personnels for excelling in sports, State DG and IG Lalrokhuma Pachuau said, “If the police man is doing good in the filed of sports then the credit should go to the coach. I am happy that the Youth and Sports service is taking a keen interest in identifying sports quality among the police.”
Pachuau gave awards to sports men and cheques to achievers from the year 2010 and 2011 at an event organised by Karnataka State Police Sports Board on Tuesday. A cheque worth 3,30,000 in total was given to 150 policemen.
