THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Horlicks Wizkids by Krayon, the inter-school fiesta running across India, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka, has come back with a bang in the city.The finals culminated with two students, V A Anupama of Nirmala Bhavan and Joan Sony Cheriyan of St Thomas Higher Secondary School, emerging as the winners. They will represent their city at the Horlicks Wizkids South Asia Finals to be held in November 2011. The South Asia winners will win scholarships worth ` 4 lakh and a trip to the UN in Geneva. The event drew an overwhelming response from the students in the city. More than 1,500 students from 30 schools came to the Sri Karthika Thirunal Theatre to present and display their unique talent. The theme for this year is ‘Generation, Taller, Stronger, Sharper’. This theme encourages students to participate in the grand evolution of the brand and its commitment in playing a role in children’s overall development, said a press release. “Horlicks Wizkids by Krayon is a property that is very popular with students across schools and cities not only in India but also in countries like Pakistan, Nepal and Sri Lanka as well,” said, Puneet Das GM- Horlicks, GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare Limited.
