New Delhi: CISF personnel have restored a bag containing cash of over Rs 1.33 lakh of the CEO of a Pune-based company after he forgot it at a Delhi Metro station.
Officials said the incident happened on Friday at about 2:00 PM when security personnel noticed an unattended bag at the IGI airport station of DMRC.
After conducting the required anti-sabotage checks, a senior official said, the security men recovered the cash amount of Rs 1,33,004 and three cell phones from the bag and it was kept in safe custody.
A CISF spokesperson said Sanjay Johanputra, CEO of a private firm in Pune, who had come to the national capital for a business meeting came back later looking for his bag and he was restored the belongings after due diligence.
In a similar case, Central Industrial Security Force personnel restored a bag containing Rs 2 lakh cash which had got mixed up between two passengers at New Delhi Metro station yesterday.
