Chief Minister Oommen Chandy will inaugurate TiEcon Kerala 2012, meet of entrepreneurs and professionals from across the country at the Le Meridien Convention Centre, Kochi, to be held on October 25 and 26.
TiE Kerala, the state chapter of The Indus Entrepreneurs, would host the first TiEcon Kerala 2012. The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE), founded in Silicon Valley, USA, is a global network of entrepreneurs engaged in promoting entrepreneurship through mentoring, networking and education. This was announced by TiE Kerala members in a press conference here the other day.
Sam Pitroda, chairman, National Innovation Council, Sramana Mitra, internationally-reputed mentor and author of 1 Million x 1 Million Programme and Founder, 1M/1M, Indian Angel Network and K M Chandrashekar, vice- chairman of State Planning Board will address the function.
John K Paul, president, TiE Kerala, will preside over the function. The keynote address would be delivered by Ashok Rao, chairman TiE Global, in the presence of Kanwal Rekhi, founder-chairman, TiE Global & Managing Partner, Inventus Capital Partners.
