On the 3rd death anniversary of Dr Vishnuvardhan on December 30 2012 several charity deeds have been announced by the 'Vibha' charitable trust in association with various social organizations and fans of Dr Vishnuvardhana.
This year death anniversary day of Dr Vishnuardhana also marks the 40 years of release of his maiden hero film 'Nagarahavu' that was also launch pad for Ambarish in the direction of doyen of Kannada cinema director SR Puttanna Kanagal. At the RV Dental College auditorium in JP Nagar, Bangalore those who worked for this film will be felicitated and Dr Vishnuvardhana Cup cricket trophy will be presented.
Forming 'Janashakthi-Janakalyana' seven nongovernmental organizations will be provided necessities on December 30. The fans of Dr Vishnuvardhana would donate grains to BOSCO Organization.
The short film contest winners will be presented cash award of Rs.5000, 3000 and 2000. A short film on social concern receives Rs.3000 and for children best short film it is Rs.3000. All the winners would get FTII admission for appreciation course for a period of January 20 to January 29, 2013.
Rotary Club, Dr Vishnuvardhana Fans Association, Narayana Hrudayalaya, free meals, Homoeopathy medicines, Mobility India, Children Rights, Prerana, Awake, Adamya Chetana, Prakruthi, Suruchi welfare organizations are joining in the various activities at Dr Vishnuvardhana Memorial situated next Abhiman Studio.
