SHIMOGA: Water Resource Minister Basavaraj Bommai alleged that the Union government had been working in Goa’s favour with regard to the implementation of the Kalasa-Banduri project. He told media persons after unfurling the national flag here on Monday, that the Supreme Court constituted a tribunal to solve the stand off between Karnataka and Goa. Karnataka government had already taken up work of the project in non-forest areas and the Goa government had been hampering the project, he alleged. No Differences Between Me and ShettarReacting to a query, Bommai clarified that there were no differences between him and Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Minister Jagadish Shettar. “It is all the creation of the media. We were friends before we entered politics. No one can separate us,” he said.
