BANGALORE: Forest officials are yet to ascertain the reason for the death of a male tiger aged between six and eight years which died at BRT Tiger Reserve on Thursday.On the receipt of information, the official who had rushed to the spot on Friday, found that the tiger had sustained an injury in his leg which was probably due to some fighting. The preliminary post mortem report revealed that there was no signs of poisoning. Speaking to Express, a forest official said, “To find out the reason, samples of the stomach content (viscera) will be sent to the laboratory for testing.”
