New Delhi: The Indian film industry's iconic couple Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will exclusively host the "Cinema Against AIDS" AMFAR dinner soiree on May 22 at the Cannes Film Festival 2014.
Held at the Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc, the event will reportedly be attended by noted personalities such as Kenneth Cole, Heidi Klum, Sharon Stone, John Travolta, Kelly Preston, Lewis Hamilton, among others.
The evening will flag off with a champagne reception and dinner, followed by a live auction, a fashion show and performances by Robin Thicke and Lana Del Ray. The event will end with a high-profile after-party.
Abhishek, who is busy shooting his next film in Shimla, will fly down for the event from Delhi on May 21.
Cinema Against AIDS is a charitable fundraiser held each year since 1993 during the Cannes Film Festival. The black-tie event is celebrated for its glittering guest list, its unpredictable live auction, and its unrivaled success in generating funds for AMfAR's lifesaving AIDS research programs.
