Burglars decamp with gold from MLAs house

BANGALORE: Burglars raided the house of KGF MLA Y Sampangi on Begur Road in Madiwala police limits and made away with gold ornaments worth Rs 4 lakh.
According to the police, the house is in the first floor of a twostoried building and the MLA's family does not live there. However, some jewels were kept in the house on May 19, in the onebedroom house.On Tuesday, Sampangi's wife Renuka visited the house and found that the front door was broken open. Two chains, 15 rings and a few sets of ear rings were stolen.
