New Delhi: While troubled pop singer Britney Spears is admitted in a medical centre in Los Angeles, her parents have won temporary control over her property by order of the LA Court Commissioner.
Before the verdict, Britney's manager Sam Lufti was in charge of handling the singer's $60 million worth of assets.
Her parents, Jamie and Lynne Spears seemed relieved to hear the court's decision to take away these rights from her manager.
The singer was admitted to the psychiatry ward of the UCLA medical centre late Thursday night, and reports say that Britney kept accusing her mother of trying to steal her paparrazo boyfriend Adnan Ghalib.
For now, legally, Spears' parents are in charge of her security and property.
Meanwhile , Britney's manager Lufti has been barred from visiting Britney in hospital under a 22-day civil harrassment restraining order.
