BANGALORE: Tension prevailed at the High Court after an unidentified miscreant called the city police control room and threatened that bombs were planted in the court’s premises on Wednesday which would go off in a few minutes. Immediately, the bomb disposal and dog squads were rushed to the court and a thorough search was made in the entire premises. Later, the police came to the conclusion that it was a hoax call as no explosive substances were found in the premises. As the court was hearing the bail petition of former Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa, who is in judicial custody in land illegal denotification case, its premises was flooded with large number of people. The people were tensed as an ambulance rushed to the court with siren to shift a D group employee of the court, Sanjeev, fell unconscious in the court premises.Cubbon Park police have registered a case.
